The IRVeinViewer app is designed to help improve the visibility of veins using infrared rays and hemoglobin contrast in the near infrared range. It is easy to use - simply launch the app, point your smartphone at the search area, and the app will automatically turn on the backlight, highlight the IR image, and adjust the optimal contrast. You can adjust the focus by tapping on the screen and freeze an image with the Freeze/Run button. The app also allows you to view the original infrared image or processed image using the IR source/2D Filter button. Additionally, you can apply a 2D filter to increase the contrast of thin or wide veins to the Freeze Frame using the Thin/Thin Max/Mid/Mid Max/Wide/Wide Max button. Please note that the app may not work well with cameras with aggressive denoiser and may not work if the veins are hidden by a layer of subcutaneous fat.
